i’m a little on the fence with this one…i LOVED goldeneye for the nintendo 64 (once again, barring the fact that i’m a rabid james bond fan) but a modern day remake of the classic game (‘97) based on the film (‘95) seems like dangerous territory. granted it’ll borrow some aspects, i’m sure, from modern day shooters, but to limit it to the wii seems like a disservice to fans (yes, i know goldeneye was n64 only, but we’re all about cross platform in this day and age, exclusivity deals are ‘eh’)

suffice it to say, activision’s made a pretty big claim and we all know how the last bond game to use the iconic goldeneye title faired…

also, i’d imagine due to licensing issues daniel craig is replacing pierce brosnan in the game on top of the fact that the film and game’s era (during the cold war) will be modernized to reflect a “global financial crisis”

i wonder how brosnan feels about this…
